Overview
Sturdy, simple and unique design, based on the lead acetate tape sensor and sample transfer vaporization tower degassing device, provides linear, interference-free and reliable H2S concentration output;
Principle
To measure H2S in crude oil or other liquids, an absorption tower device is used to separate the H2S gas from the liquid so that it can be accurately measured in the gaseous state. This separation does not require a problematic and complex "top space" absorption tower, which is often affected by liquid residues. DukeTech uses the most advanced sample transfer absorption tower (STS) device and its unique ASI membrane technology to separate H2S from liquid samples for effective and reliable detection in the gaseous state. The sample transfer absorption tower STS is a very simple degassing device that provides ultra-clean and dry sample gas for analysis to the detector. Compared with the complex "top space" absorption method, the sample transfer absorption tower STS reduces 90% of the parts. This significantly reduces its maintenance requirements and improves the reliability of the analysis. DukeTech has become the global leader in H2S analysis in liquids (including crude oil) due to the many advantages of this unique technology.
The principle of this method is that the continuous flowing liquid sample enters the heated STS unit, which is partially based on Henry's law to separate the liquid from H2S. The carrier gas then brings the H2S sample gas into the specific H2S detector for quantitative detection in ppb, ppm, and %. Even in the face of complex process changes, the analyzer does not require zero-point or range calibration.
